A further lending library service offered in the nursery is our Storysacks Library which is part of our Extended Schools Program. We have secured funding to purchase a wide range of storysacks containing a variety of books and resources for home use.
Storysack resources provide ways to enjoy books and reading with your child.
They include:
- A good quality story book
- Props, scenery and characters to bring the story to life
- A non-fiction book linked to the story
- Reading tips and activity ideas for parents
- Word or number games based on the story
- An audio tape of the story
Storysacks can be borrowed on a fortnightly basis, similar to our lending library. This will start on Wednesday 24th November. Storysacks must be returned to school on the next Wednesday to allow time for the contents to be cleaned and ready for the next week. This is in line with school Covid guidance.**
If you would like to become a member of our Storysack Lending Library please send a message via SEESAW to your child’s teacher by Wednesday 17th November to let them know you would like to join.
